Deadline for the $15,000 HomeBuilder grant is approaching

Are you planning to construct, purchase, or renovate a new home? The HomeBuilder program is set to expire on March 31, giving you less than two weeks to take advantage of the $15,000 grant.

The Australian government’s scheme, which was set to expire in December but was extended until March 31, has resulted in a significant increase in new house sales in recent months.

Experts predict that before the deadline, the number of HomeBuilder applications will continue to climb.

According to Angela Lillicrap, an economist with the Housing Industry Association (HIA), “we foresee a jump in sales in March.”

What exactly is the HomeBuilder scheme?

Isn’t it possible that two weeks is a little too short?

However, if construction commencement deadlines are met, a variety of build and property types (including ready-to-go properties) may be eligible for the grant, including:

– off-the-plan apartments

– house and land packages

– new home purchases

– new home builds (on vacant land)

– substantial renovations.

With the HomeBuilder deadline approaching in a matter of days, it’s safe to say that the clock is ticking.
